It's March!!!!

Hello friends!!!!!! My name is Erica Swan, and I'm a sophomore going on this trip. I am SOO excited for this trip for multiple reasons..

1) Never been to Europe before and am looking forward to learning about their culture, way of life, etc. I've said this before, but God has created a HUGE, beautiful world for us to enjoy and live in, we gotta go see His other amazing creations!! Pictures don't do justice.

2) Awesome group of people and getting to know them personally, being accountability partners, etc.

3) But most importantly, I am really excited to share my faith to those who have never even heard of our Heavenly Father (how crazy is that!!), or even elaborate more on Him if they have.  Being a Christian my whole life, I have felt that most of my friends share the exact same values as I do, coming from a Christian grade school and high school.  I frankly do not think I have met anyone that has no idea who Jesus even is! I think if I start to explain Him to someone and the amazing things He has done I'll just talk so fast out of excitement that they won't even be able to understand me!! (Then I'll slow down to make sure they understand :d)

I am anxious, simply because of the unknowns and what to expect. But I do believe this is exactly what God is calling us to do as said in the Great Commission in Matthew.  I think that this trip will equip us with lifelong tools.  I hope that a lot of barriers will be broken so that when we return back to our comfort zone in Allendale, MI that we can share and exercise our faith just as well as had on this trip.

I can't even imagine what God has in store for us, but I know it's gonna be outstanding! I'm ready for my new memory card (that can now take up to 1654 pictures..oh yeahh) to be put to great use.  I'm looking forward to making lots of friendship bracelets, journaling along the way, reading some good Jesus books, listening to some soul music, giggling, playing some suduko, and strengthening my relationship with God and my other brothers and sisters in Christ!
